Funding of a Horizon Europe project coordinated by Prof. Yves Lévy

The SOLVE project (Sustainable COVID-19 Vaccination for Long-term Immunity and Effectiveness; Grant agreement n° 101137185) has just been funded by the European Commission as part of the Horizon Europe programme.

This 5-year project, coordinated by Professor Yves Lévy (Physiopathology and immunotherapies in HIV infection team), aims to identify the mechanisms of induction of long-term immunity of four vaccine platforms against COVID-19, while studying the factors of adherence of the population to vaccination.

This €14m-plus project, €9m of which is funded by Europe and €5.1m by Switzerland, brings together nine partners, including Matthieu Mahévas’s research team (Transfusion and Red Blood Cell Diseases Team).
