Congratulations to Mathieu Panel (ex-PhD student of Bijan Ghaleh’s team), winner of the Drug Science Award!

Mathieu Panel, ex-PhD student of Bijan Ghaleh-Marzban’s team, recently received the Prix des Sciences du Médicament from the French National Academy of Pharmacy for his thesis work under the supervision of Didier Morin entitled “Study of the effect of new cyclophilin D ligands on the mitochondrial permeability transition pore and their protective effect”.

His research includes work carried out in collaboration with Jean-Michel Pawlotsky’s team, and has led to a high-level publication in the journal Gastroenterology, vol 157, n°5, November 2019, pages 1368-82 .
