Bio-informatics
The bioinformatics platform of the Mondor Institute for Biomedical Research was created in 2017 to offer to the IMRB’s research teams, and more generally the UPEC (Université Paris-Est Créteil) :
- Access to computing facilities:
– Access to the computing power on the cluster via a scheduler (slurm)
– Access to databases and tools already installed
– Possibility to install and deploy locally dedicated pipelines and banks
- Support with bio-informatics analyses:
-Advice upstream of bio-informatics and/or bio-statistical analyses
-Support for bioinformatics analysis and reporting of results
-Training and/or assistance
- Example of pipelines/services:
– Search for variants
– Metagenomics 16S
– ChIP-seq
– RNA-seq
– scRNA-seq
– Biological systems modeling
- Equipment:
– 1 compute server composed of 7 nodes with 16 CPU (32GB RAM per node + GPU) and 7 nodes with 16 CPU (512GB RAM per node)
– Local storage (100To)
– 85To disk (replicated)
